Nawaz Sharif wants foolproof security for team in India

Islamabad, March 5 (IANS) Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has directed Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan to ensure foolproof security of Pakistan cricket team in India.

Nisar Ali briefed Sharif on a matter pertaining to security of Pakistan cricket team during its visit to India to participate in T20 World Cup, Radio Pakistan reported.

Sharif directed that a team be sent to New Delhi to report on security measures in India to help take the final decision in this regard.

He also sought a report from Pakistan Cricket Board on the poor performance of the team in Asia Cup.
