Steve Waugh, former Australia captain has said that New Zealand would go into the highly expected International Cricket Council Cricket World Cup 2015 fight against Australia as ‘favourites’ on Saturday at Eden Park.

While Black Caps have won all 3 of their International cricket World Cup games, Australia won only one match against England, with their 2nd match against Bangladesh washed out.

Stuff.co.nz reported that Steve Waugh said that Brendon McCullum‘s men would be likely entitled to be dark knights in this match, and further added that they had played 3 matches so they were in the groove and were possibly relaxed and confident, at the peak of their strengths.

However, the 1999 World Cup winning captain claimed that the Black Caps would hate to think they are favourites in this ICC World Cup, persisting that it would be good to see them under a wee bit of pressure with the hope to defeat Australia and see how they handle that.
