The New Zealand tour started on a crazy note for Sunil Ambris when he got out in the form of hit-wicket in the first Test match. The craziness continued when he was again dismissed in the same fashion in the second Test, but the tour has ended on a sad note for him as he has been ruled out of the ODI series due to a fracture on his forearm.

He suffered a blow after being hit by one of the deliveries from Neil Wagner and did not come out to bat in the second innings of the second Test again. The New Zealand pacers had opted strategy to attack batsmen with short balls, and Ambris was the one who was affected by it. He ends his New Zealand tour with a total of 25 runs in four innings.
Windies lost both the Test match on tour. In the first game, the home team did not give any chance to the visitors and defeated them by a margin of an innings and 67 runs. In the second game, a Jason Holder sans side continued to disappoint and lost the game by 240 runs. Here as well, Windies were fined due to slow over rate.
