Pakistan ‘A’ captain Asad Shafiq said that his team has the potential to challenge Australia in the four day friendly match at Sharjah starting from Wednesday. Asad is positive that the youngsters of his team will perform well against Australia. Asad added that everyone must have faith in the youngsters and also the team. After the 1st match, their batting quality improved in the 2nd match and in the third it was even better.

So they are getting better and they are working hard on their faults and they will give their best in this match. Shafiq also said that they have created a good amalgamation to play against Australia and hope to give their best. The Pakistani Captain also thanked the selectors for choosing him as Pakistan ‘A’ captain. He also said that he feels honoured at being able to lead the Pakistan ‘A’ team. He also said, it is a big honour for him.

When he was asked about facing tough Aussie side, he replied Australian bowlers are marvelous, especially their pace bowling. Aussies looked very prepared but Pakistan have improved with every One Day International match. Even in their practice their focus was on how to apply themselves and win matches.
