In a typical Pakistan style, selectors announced Pakistan squad for World T20, which will be held in India from March 8th, with full of surprises. Ahmed Shehzad, along with batsmen Shoaib Maqsood; wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan, and senior fast bowler Umar Gul were the main absentee from the squad which toured New Zealand in January.
