Pakistan defeated Australia in the 2 match Test series securing a complete white wash over the mighty Australians. Pakistan’s Younis Khan wrote his own chapter in the history books scoring 3 consecutive hundreds while Pakistan win a series against Australia after 20 years.

Australia chasing a huge total of 603 in the final innings of the second Test match had only one option of drawing a Test match. David Warner scored a half century while Steven Smith resilience at the crease finally came to an end as he got out on 97. Australia lost last 5 wickets in a matter of just 8 runs after Lunch. At one stage it was looking like Steve Smith might take Aussies home with a draw however Pakistan didn’t lose hope.

Full credit to the Pakistani team and the way they have dominated the series. It was exceptional. The batting, bowling and everything was perfect. Misbah-Ul-Haq is now the fastest half centurion and a centurion is Tests

After a disastrous ODI series, this is the perfect way to gain momentum back as they will look forward with confidence ahead of the World Cup 2015.

On the other hand, Australia’s batting and bowling looked ordinary. Except for Warner and Smith, no one really got going. Nathan Lyon looked as if he has no effect on the Pakistani batsmen.

Pakistan now also rise up to no.3 position in the Test rankings after this victory.
