Pakistan have detained declaration of team for the 1st Test against Australia as the squad is wrestling with contusions. Pakistan team’s selector and manager Moin Khan told that they have taken consent to detain the proclamation till the end of the tour match between their A side and Australia. Moin Khan said that the delay was forced on them owing to injuries to a bunch of frontline players and with a view to fielding the best probable squad, the selectors would like to wait for an update on their fitness, as well as on the form of the players featuring in the side against Australia. The selectors are optimistic that they will be able to get back Mohammad Hafeez.  Mohammad Hafeez has been out due to a hand injury. PCB’s General Manager of Sports Medicine Dr Sohail Saleem said that Mohammad Hafeez agonized a deep incision to the base of the left thumb whilst fielding a firmly struck ball during a friendly 50 over match at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Hafeez got five stitches and the hand was appropriately draped. Dr. Sohail Saleem also added, he appraised his wound on 11th October, 2014 and the stitches are removed. The laceration afterwards looked dry and has cured properly. He will examine him again on 14th October, 2014 in the practice session and report findings accordingly. On the other hand in the pace bowling crew, Wahab Riaz has already been ruled out while Junaid Khan could still trait in the series. The first match of the 2 Test series begins at Dubai on 22nd October, 2014. This test matches are going to be very interesting.
