On Sunday, Shaharyar Khan, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman said that Pakistan would not totally to stop consideration of playing its home series against India later this year at Indian loam if the economical returns for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) were as fancied by them.

When Shaharyar Khan was asked about media reports in India he replied that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) was eager on organizing a series in December at home.

Shaharyar Khan told PTI in an interview that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have not spoken to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) about it officially but the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has also heard about it. But as things stand now it is declared clearly in the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two boards that is the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) that the 1st series of the 6 series bilateral package will be played in the United Arab Emirates this December.”

Shaharyar Khan was quoted saying: “The venue of the first series which will be our ‘home’ series, is described as neutral venue and UAE in the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).”
