Recently Pakistan Cricket Board has released the list of players who have been given the central contracts . The major changes have been that Kamran Akmal and Shoaib Malik have been denied a central contracts by the PCB.

The total list includes 31 players who have been divided into 4 different cateogaries.

Cateogary A is the top most one and it includes Misbah ul Haq, Mohammad Hafiz, Saeed Ajmal, Shahid Afridi and Junaid Khan. The players in this grade will receive around  Rs 4.5 lakhs per year.

Cateogary B includes the likes of Younis Khan, Ahmed Shehzad, Umar Akmal and Umar Gul . Younis Khan has been demoted from Cateogary A to Cateogary B.  Ahmed Shehzad has been promoted from Cateogary C to Cateogary B. The players in this cateogary are to receive around Rs 3.2 lakhs per month.

Cateogary C  includes playes like Asad Shafiq, Azhar Ali , Adnan Akmal and others and the players are to receiver around Rs 1.8 lakhs per month from the PCB.

Cateogary D players will get around Rs 90 lakhs per month and the list includes players like Md. Irfan, Fawad Alam and others.

PCB had earlier planned to include just 22 players in the Central Contract list but then the final list included 31 players. Last year it included 30 players.

On releasing the contracts , the officials also mentioned that factors like form, fitness and future potential have been taken care.

Also the PCB has now announced that their players will get financial bonus if they beat Australia in the coming series. Pakistan is scheduled to plays against Australia, this September in UAE.

The PCB had earlier announced a performance based payment to lift the morale of the players .

Category B (Rs 314,452): Younis Khan, Ahmed Shehzad, Umar Akmal, Umar Gul

Category C (Rs 179,687): Asad Shafiq, Azhar Ali, Adnan Akmal, Khurram Manzoor, Nasir JamshedAbdur Rehman

Category D (Rs 89,843) : Sohaib Maqsood, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Bilawal Bhatti, Sharjeel Khan, Zulfiqar Babar, Fawad Alam, Ehsan Adil, Mohammad Irfan, Wahab Riaz, Raza Hasan, Umar Amin, Haris Sohail, Rahat Ali, Shaan Masood, Mohammad TalhaAnwar Ali
