Pakistan’s Yasir Shah Seeks Shane Warne’s Assistance To Overturn Fortunes

Claimed by Shane Warne as the best spinner across formats in today’s game, Pakistan’s Yasir Shah has openly asked for an advice or would rather say help from the Aussie legend himself, in order to change gears from being defensive to attacking in Tests.
Disappointed with his rough patch against Australia in the ongoing Test series, Yasir Shah has knocked on Shane Warne’s door for some assistance. During the Brisbane Test, Warne, sitting in the commentary box, accused Yasir Shah of bowling with a defensive mindset and even said this won’t fetch him wickets in the longer run. In the second innings when Pakistan were trailing behind big time, Yasir came over the wicket to the left-handed Usman Khawaja with a six-three field, and it did not amuse Warne for sure.
Yasir Shah couldn’t hatch some smiling moments for himself as he just managed to bag three wickets in the first Test and conceded 174 runs in both innings.
On the Boxing Day of the second Test match at Melbourne, Pakistan were kept on the back-foot as they were restricted to 142 for four before rain hampered the play. Talking about the leggie on Channel Nine, Warne said Yasir contacted him for some advice and he was more than willing to help him out.
“He asked me this morning about the MCG. I had a chat to him about pace and how you should bowl here. Hes got better (since Brisbane) and learnt some things. Hell enjoy bowling here.”
However, as reported by The Daily Mail, Yasir has been in regular contact with Shane Warne.
