2014 has almost come to its end so let’s take a look at the top 10 players who have scored most hundreds in 2014, including Test, ODIs and T20s.

2014 hasn’t been a great cricketing year for the Indian cricket team, mainly in Tests as the team has given a disappointing performance in England and so far the results haven’t been good in Australia either. As a result of this only 1 Indian has made it to the Top 10 list in terms of 100s scored in the year 2014. Let us take a look at the list of players first:

Hashim Amla tops the list of players to score most number of 100s in the year 2014. Amla has scored 8 hundreds in 32 matches played. Amla has mostly played ODIs in the current year hence is not among the runs.

Second on the list is Kumar Sangakkara with 8 hundreds and 17 fifties in 46 matches played by the Sri Lankan. Virat Kohli, the only Indian in this list is on 3rd with 7 centuries and 11 fifties in 37 matches.

David Warner and Steve Smith have now 6 centuries each, their performance against India in the last two test matches has helped them to climb up on this list.

Mahela Jayawardene (SL), AB de Villiers (SA), Aaron Finch (Aus), Ajinkya Rahane (Ind) and Ross Taylor (NZ) have scored 4 centuries each in 2014, but Jayawardene makes it to the Top 10 list as he has scored most number of runs among all.

With the boxing day test match yet to be played this year, Virat Kohli, Warner and Smith have a good chance to go higher on the list and probably top it too.
