Darren Bravo, who was reportedly offered a Grade C contract by West Indies Cricket Board, has hit out at WICB president Dave Cameron after being placed in the lowest grade. He took the social media platform to lash out at the President and tweeted:
You hav been failing 4 d last 4yrs. Y don’t u resign and FYI I’ve neva been given an A contract. Big idiot @davec51

Bravo has cited the failures of West Indies team in past four years and has demanded a resignation from him. Well, there should be no surprise in this as West Indies have acted like an irresponsible board from the past few years. Strange, but yes, they have shown the doors to many experienced players. The latest example being of Daren Sammy, who led the team to 2016 T20 World Cup win. The final game at Eden Gardens proved to be his last game. Can you imagine that?
Without any legitimate reason, they dropped him. West Indies board, in current time, has surprised the cricket fraternity through their strange and vague moves. Is there any point in dropping these players?
Well, not surprisingly, the performance of the West Indies team has gone from bad to worse as in no case a team can succeed by ruling out talent and experience at the cost of youngsters. Instead of reaping benefits from senior pros like Chris Gayle, Darren Sammy, Dwayne Bravo, they have sidelined everyone to make way for youngsters. Believe it or not, but surely the board has some personal gain in taking these steps. Surely, it’s time that not only players but also other board should take some steps to make an improvement in WICB.
One step can be boycotting them to force them to get them back on track instead of deteriorating the image of cricket.
