India’s left-arm spinner, Pragyan Ojha is now under BCCI’s radar for having suspected bowling action and is now going through rehabilitation to correct it.

According to report on Monday by “Times Now” TV channel, Ojha is currently going through rehabilitation to revamp his bowling action.

Former Test umpire, AV Jayaprakash presently part of BCCI’s Illegal Actions Committee, has revealed about it on the TV channel about Ojha who is considered to be one of the bowlers identified with suspected bowling action.

Hyderabad’s Ojha, who is currently out of the Indian team, was picked in South Zone Team to play in the Duleep Trophy.

South will face East Zone in Lahli (Haryana) in the semi-finals from October 22. The 28-year-old left arm turner has represented India in 24 Tests, 18 ODIs and 6 T20Is.

In 2012 itself, former India captain Bishan Singh Bedi had said Ojha has a suspect action. “I am not a great fan of (Pragyan) Ojha. That is because of his suspect action. That’s how bluntly I can put it,” Bedi had said in July, 2012.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has launched a major crackdown over bowlers who bowl with illegal actions. Pakistan’s Saeed Ajmal was banned from bowling recently in the same process.
