The BCCI has got all of its board members newly elected and is due to start its work from the 26th of April and one of the most important issues would be the tenure of Indian coach Duncan Fletcher.
It is the first official meeting between the authorities and Jagmohan Dalmiya the president of BCCI will sit along with all his colleagues to discuss the implication of all the matters related to Indian cricket.
Jagmohan Dalmiya also added that a proper agenda of the things to be discussed in the meeting is not yet decided but said that he will take opinions and suggestions from all the members in the issue concerning the Indian national coach.
He also added that the most important part was to discuss the process to appoint a coach and whether it would be a panel to decide the coach or a select few would be shortlisted.
Jagmohan Dalmiya also added that Ravi Shastri the chief of selectors of the BCCI will also have a very important role in deciding the new coach for the national team.
Sanjay Bangar, Bharat Arun, R Sridhar are all likely to keep their place for the next international tour in Bangladesh but Praveen Amre is the name that has popped up in many of the meeting for the role of a coach for the national team.
