On the 2nd day of the 3rd round matches saw some excellent performances from indiduvual players from the bat and ball. In Group C the match between Services and Jammu and Kashmir ended with Services winning the match by 9 wickets.

With the bat Wasim Jaffer scored 68 while Ganesh Satish remained not out on 81 for Vidarbha against Karnataka, Unmukt Chand scored 68 for Delhi against Haryana, Parthiv Patel scoring 113 for Gujarat against Punjab, Swapnil Singh scoring 74 for Baroda against Andhra Pradesh, TM Srivastva remained not out for 75 and Shaukat scoring 76 for Uttar Pradesh against Railways, Misal scoring 62 for Goa against Tripura, PR prem scoring 52 for Kerala against Jharkhand, B Anirudh scoring 62 for Hyderabad against HP, Khajuria scoring 51 for J and K against Services, KS Bharat remained not out on 50.

In the bowling front Ladda picked 5 wickets for 138 for Punjab against Gujarat ,J Yadav picked 4 wickets for 78 for Haryana against Delhi, Krishna Das picked 3 more wickets to finish with figures of 7/21 for Assam against Odisha, Dabholkar picked 1 more wicket to finish figures with 5/122 for Mumbai against TN,   Rana Dutta picked 4/ 44 for Tripura against Goa, Varun Aaron finished with figures of 5/23 for Jharkhand against Kerala, Rohit Sharma picked 4 wickets for J and K against Services while Khalid picked 7 wickets for 61 for Services against J and K in the second innings of J and K.
