England cricket team has a great test team which has won matches with their batting and top quality bowling attack. In the recently concluded Ashes, England beat Australia to regain the trophy. The test team has some quality batsmen like Cook, Bell and bowlers like Anderson, Broad. The main problem for England was their form in One day International cricket.

England’s One day team did not have a specialist who can hit big strokes and create pressure on the opposition bowling attack. The England cricket lost the One day International series to India at home, Sri Lanka which led to sacking of captain Cook. In the World Cup 2015, the England only won 1 match and lost to Bangladesh in the process of getting knocked out of the first round.

England team looked out of sorts in One day Internationals and the experts were criticizing the team of not performing well in One day International.

England chased the total of 350 in the same series against New Zealand. The England team had specialists in the form of Jason Roy, Alex Hales, Eoin Morgan, Bairstow and Moeen Ali. England team took the attack to the opposition and surprised the runners up of the 2015 World Cup.

Next Australia came to face England. The England team lost the first two matches of the series but came back strongly in the series with some positive play in the next two matches scoring and chasing 300 targets each. In the last match England were trashed and lost the series. In the year 2015 England had 300 score or more 6 times. They scored at a run rate of 6.63 runs per over. The England won 5 matches and lost 5 matches too.

England team looked a great One day International team in the 2015 and hope that England could continue their form in the upcoming matches against Pakistan.
