With less than one month to go for the 2015 World Cup, here are some interesting trivias about the World Cup.

Afghanistan are making their first ever appearance in the ICC Cricket World Cups.

With an age of 43 years and 211 days, UAE’s Khurram Khan and Mohammad Tauqir are the oldest players of the tournament. Both the players were born on the same day (21 June 1971).

UAE’s Mohammad Tauqir is the least experienced captain among all the other captains in the 2015 World Cup as he is yet to make his ODI debut as a captain. West Indies’ Jason Holder closely follows him with 2 ODIs as captain.

Sri Lanka’s Mahela Jayawardene is the most experienced player going into the 2015 World Cup with 437 ODIs under his belt.

Ireland’s Peter Chase is the least experienced player going into the 2015 World Cup as he is yet to make his ODI debut.
