The Australian media and couple of other former Aussie cricketers have left no opportunity to attack Virat Kohli and his men. However, this might the time for them to find their hideouts. Whether on the field or off it, the strongly fought series witnessed an equal amount of riveting action. This series win should now effectively shut up the critics. Earlier, Gautam Gambhir also slammed the naysayers with a perfect tweet which also was a sort of message to everyone.
The Border – Gavaskar series against Australia is by far the most eventful one of all the series that took place in recent time. The rank turner at Pune in the first Test was a jolting blow to India. It not only ended the home side’s flawless runs but also woke up them up. The second Test at Bengaluru officially marked the beginning of the war of words after Kohli’s no holds barred post-match conference. The third Test at Ranchi ended in a high-scoring draw to set the stage for the series decider at Dharamsala.
