On Saturday India’s right-handed batsman Rohit Sharma seemed motivated and confident ahead of a practice match against the Australia and for ICC World Cup which starts Feb 14.

Rohit said that once someone wear the Indian jersey, it gives the motivation enough to go and perform on the ground. If that person is not motivated enough wearing the Indian jersey, then he is just doing himself a favour by showing up on the field. He added that he missed the last ICC World Cup in India and he is keen to make this one count and make it big without putting much coercion on myself.

Having missed the 2011 edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup, Rohit felth that the Indians will try to be perturbed by the enormity of an India-Pakistan encounter when they meet there 15th Feb and will look to just accomplish the ‘process’ of whipping out a result in their favour.

He added that it will be a big match against Pakistan but India need to focus more on the process rather than taking it as an India-Pakistan match. The output will take care of itself if they focus on the process and they know what they need to do to be at their best.
