The Master Blaster from Mumbai, Sachin Tendulkar has always been a fan of Four wheelers. He has been associated with the car brand BMW since 2012. He owns a 7-series sedan from the company and has always been fond of them.

Recently, the German car brand has acknowledged Sachin’s popularity and his contribution to its image by launching a series of luxury cars by his name. Sachin also owns one of the most exclusive cars from the brand in the world.

Sachin and his popularity will get BMW all the attention they want as they launched the Sachin Tendulkar series of cars. The series will be a limited edition special with 3-series and 5-series luxurious sedans. It is said that these cars are exclusively signed by Sachin himself and that a total of only 15 units will be available for sale.

Though the Indian market is not too advantageous for luxury car brands, BMW have not really been able to mark their territory in the luxury car market. Brands like Audi and Mercedes are well known to produce new models constantly to attract more customers. This makes the market even tougher for BMW.

However, BMW is hoping to get back into the market with the Sachin Tendulkar Special Edition sedans. The brand value of Sachin may help BMW to compete with the bigger brands. This is why the special edition is launched by the company. They will also want to use this launch as an opportunity to promise a lot in the future and help in the growth of the image of the brand in the future.

Sachin who is easily the most popular sportsman in the country has been in associations with some top brands. Having someone like Sachin endorsing your product is always something a company can invest on. Even as BMW introduces the Special Edition series, there will be a lot of competition in the luxury car markets, and BMW will try to fight them with the popularity of Tendulkar amongst the Indian citizens.
