Sachin Tendulkar Thanks Team India For Gracing The Special Screening Of His Biopic

Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar expressed his gratitude to the Team India boys for attending the premiere of his upcoming biographical movie, Sachin: A Billion Dreams.
Almost the entire squad, who are set to compete in the Champions Trophy next month in England, along with other staff members attended the screening.
The cricketers were obviously ecstatic at the event and posted the updates on Twitter. From KL Rahul, Shikhar Dhawan to MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh and Virat Kohli, everyone gave great reviews about the movie in the press meet after the event.

Sachin Tendulkar seemed deeply moved by their presence and involvement. So, it was only fair for him to thanked those boys for making an appearance. He did so by tweeting a picture with the entire squad.

A plethora of VIPs also graced the event including Bollywood biggies like The Bachchans – Amitabh, Abhishek and Aishwarya along with Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma, Amir Khan and Ranveer Singh. Mumbai Indians owners Mukesh, Nita and their son Akash Ambani were also present at the event.
AR Rahman, who has composed the music for the movie, was accompanied by his son Ameen, Ramakant Achrekar, Sachin’s guru, was the most special guest of the evening. Sudhir Kumar Chaudhary, the man who dedicated his life following the cricketer, was also specially invited for the movie.
The movie is set to release tomorrow (26th May) across India. Being touted as the most awaited sports movie of the year, it promises to create new attendance records in the genre. The ticket for the movies has been sold out in almost all metros and second tier cities. This only assures us of the fact that fans will be thronging the theatres to witness the epic.
The movie, directed by Emmy – nominated James Erskine, will feature real-life video footages from Sachin’s personal and cricketing life. It promises to reveal some unknown facts about Sachin Tendulkar’s journey as a cricketer and the flag bearer of Indian cricket for 24 years.
Team India, on the other hand, had departed to England for the Champions Trophy preparation. The side, which will be led by Virat Kohli, enter as the defending champions having won the 2013 edition under MS Dhoni.
