Saeed Ajmal, the suspended off spinner from Pakistan is scheduled to undergo another biomechanics test in this week, is not keen to play the domestic cricket in Pakistan. Saeed Ajmal, who was suspended from bowling in International cricket due to a bend of over 15 degrees wants to prepare directly for the biomechanics test before the World Cup, which will be conducted by the ICC.
Failing to pass this, Ajmal will not be allowed to bowl in the World Cup. The Bowling Action Review Committee of the PCB recommended Ajmal to play the domestic Cricket but Ajmal has other ideas. The committee is happy of the result which has come out in the past few months with Ajmal’s bend reducing significantly in terms of the degree.
Earlier PCB had appointed Saqlain Mushtaq to work with Ajmal in getting his action rectified.
The committee just wanted to confirm if Ajmal will remain as effective as before with the new action. Ajmal will be an automatic choice if his action is cleared by the ICC .
Pakistan has to submit it’s final squad of 15 members before January 7 to the ICC.
