The Caribbean leg-spinner Samuel Badree has stepped forward one place, replacing his fellow Sunil Narine as the number one rated bowler in the current Reliance ICC Player Ranking for Twenty20 bowlers. The latest amend has got announced on Wednesday, a day later the group stage of the ICC World Twenty20 Bangladesh 2014 ended, reports CMC.

He recently holds the third highest wicket-taker in the compititon with 10 from four matches, at an average of nine and an economy rate of 5.62.

His elbow greased has supported him to achieve 109 ratings points and ha closed on 855, 45 ratings points in front of his teammate Narine.

He started just one rating point behind Narine when he entered the campaign.

The player rankings are going to be rejuvenated now on Monday, April 7, after the final of the ongoing competition.

On the other hand, West Indies and Australia has interchanged their place in the rankings. The Caribbean are now holding the fifth place and finished on 115, whereas, the Aussie have gone down a place to sixth position with a  drop of five points and finished on 110.
