With nothing to lose in this match, the West Indies team played their heart out and forced a draw in the end. They did not lose the hope till the end and faced a fiery bowling attack with courage and determination. Playing against the expectations the West Indies team went on to bat for 3 sessions, thus enforcing a draw in the end. During this, they found a new star in the form of Roston Chase who after taking five-wicket haul came up with a superb century to rescue his team. Surely his performance in the match will be remembered for a long time to come.

This was the first time when West Indies team when the team crossed the 300 run mark in the series in four innings they have played till now.

Now it’s time for us to rate the players on the basis of their performance in the match.

Shikhar Dhawan (2/5)

He seemed to have lost his form after that well made 84 runs in the first Test match. Here when conditions were pro batting, he failed to make an impact and could just score 27 runs. It is a matter of concern for him as his partner KL Rahul went on to score a century which will exert pressure on him in the next Test match.
