A celebratory dinner is going to be wined and dined in the UAE before the starting of the seventh edition of Indian Premier League. In the contempt of the typical opening commemoration, this time Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit Nene and Deepika Padukone are going to perform at the event.
Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the son of the Sheikh of Abu Dhabi, will throw the gala dinner party on April 15 at the Emirates Palace and it will be popped up by various celebrities from Bollywood and a few other VIP guests, according to Emirates 24/7.
SRK, the co-partner of the franchise side Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), is going to anchor the event. Although, the Bollywood king is having enough on his plate, shooting for his upcoming new feature film but will steal some time for the gala dinner and will attend the first 2014 IPL match between KKR and Mumbai Indians.
The chief draw of the gala event will be focused at the performances of SRK, Madhuri and Padukone.
The King Khan will do the honor of anchoring the show and dance to some of his memorable songs. Later, his ‘Devdas’, ‘Koyla’ and ‘Dil to Pagal Hain’ co-star Madhuri will join him on the stage and will lay the flame with some acts of her own.
The Audience may watch Deepika to perform on ‘Lungi Dance’ from her blockbuster movie ‘Chennai Express’, at the same time. She will also dance to the songs from her movies ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-leela’ and ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’.
IPL 2014 will set out on 16 April with the match between Mumbai Indians and KKR at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
