The drafts for the 2015 Caribbean Premier League took place last night and all the franchises did some smart purchase in Jamaica. Pakistan’s Shahid Afridi was the top buy at the drafts as he was sold for $150,000 to the newcomers St Kitts and Nevis. Apart from Afridi, Sri Lanka’s Mahela Jayawardene and former South African all-rounder attracted big money. The teams have 24 hours after the end of the draft to exchange a player with another franchise. A maximum of 4 overseas players have been picked by each franchise. St. Kitts has replaced Antigua Hawkbills this season. Here is the list of players purchased by the franchises.
