Best known for bowling the second-fastest delivery of all-time when he bowled a delivery against England at Lord’s that registered at 161.1 kph in 2010, the pacer’s career has been marred by injuries. A key member of Australia’s victorious World Cup team of 2007, Tait made his international debut for Australia in Test cricket in 2005 against England, followed by his ODI debut in 2007. But due to injuries, he could play only three Tests, 35 ODIs and 21 T20s, picking up 95 wickets in total. The fast-bowler retired from ODIs in 2011 after Australia lost to India in the quarterfinal of the World Cup.
