People get confuse Shikhar Dhawan’s middle name as Gabbar whenever commentators call him with the name. But that name came with aggression in his batting and his look which meets a Daaku (Gabbar in Sholay Film). But in this Indian Premier League he has a challenge to lead his team. And the Leadership quality will be one on the greatest things to be succeeded which wasn’t done by many legends.

Sun Risers Hyderabad the team with best bowling line in the IPL and it will be captained by Dhawan. As a captain Dhawan will have to use his resources properly. His real challenge of captaincy lies in allocating the overs properly to the options available and finding the best options for final overs.

Personally this season is a challenge considering his recent form. This performance may help him to regain his spot in the National team after he was dropped of series of failures. And if he succeeds in captaincy it will be bonus to him.

He have to make some tough calls to make his team’s batting to look good enough as like the bowling. Being a captain he has to take extra responsibility to guide his team to good score unlike the last season where they scored below par scorers but however they could still manage to win with good bowling resources.

He has to play a gamble between the Indian pacemen Bhuvaneshwar, Pathan and Ishant. It will be an easy call to play Steyn and Mishra. Sammy may make into team as a benefit of all-rounder. But when it comes to top-order it may be going towards Finch and Warner who make the squad look like a rock.

But the inclusion of an Indian keeper won’t be a good for the team with less international experience. With no better batsmen other than the three it makes them look weak in batting. But the Captain’s responsibility will be crucial who guides with a sort of team he is going to lead.

Shikhar Dhawan personally doesn’t have a great experience of captaining a team in any recognised Cricket. He captained SRH even in the last year’s Champions League Twenty20 where he took the team into main draw but failed to make it into knock-outs. But he should the responsibility with the bat and stood top scorer of the team. He did a good job with the bowling attack also.

A final word for him will be to play his natural game which he hasn’t showed in recent times and to bring a good captain from him that will be helping his team.
