Sourav has given his view of the match between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2013. Sourav Ganguly, the former India captain, is reported to have given a “clean-chit” to an Indian Premier League (IPL) 2013 contest between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals and he doesn’t find any corrupt incident in that match. This match did come under the scanner as the Justice Mukul Mudgal-led panel started investigating into the controversy. However, Ganguly, who is also part of the panel, has apparently not spotted anything suspicious about the game.
The Observer reported that sources are saying that Ganguly gave that game a clean chit, and it was a part of the interim report that was submitted by the panel to the Supreme Court. Moreover, the Mudgal committee was in Mumbai over the weekend and are said to have conducted a secret meeting but its discussion were unknown.
BB Mishra, a member of the panel, may put forward question to some players once they return from their tour to England. A source was quoted that N Srinivasan and his son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan have not been interrogated so far but they are bound to be called at the concluding stage of the inquiries. Ganguly say about the incident is very much clear and he didn’t see any suspicious thing in that match.
