Sourav Ganguly, one of the legends of Indian cricket team, was a prolific cricketer. Sourav Ganguly is one of the greatest captains of India and is a complete package in cricket. Sourav Ganguly was also considered as an all-rounder.

Here is Sourav Ganguly’s top five bowling performances in ODIs –

  1. 5/16 Vs. Pakistan– Sourav Ganguly’s best bowling performance was against Pakistan in Toronto. It was in 18th September 1997, he took a five wicket and it was his career best. In that match he bowled 10 over’s out of which 3 were maiden. In the 10 over’s he just conceded 16 runs and took 5 wickets with an economy of 1.60 and this was his best bowling performance.    
  2. 5/34 Vs. Zimbabwe – Sourav Ganguly’s second best bowling performance was against Zimbabwe in Kanpur. It was in 11th December 2000, he took a five wicket and extraordinary performance. In that match he bowled 10 over’s out of which 1 was maiden. In the 10 over’s he just conceded 34 runs and took 5 wickets with an economy of 3.40 and this was his second best bowling performance.   
  3. 4/21 Vs. Sri Lanka – Sourav Ganguly’s third best bowling performance was against Sri Lanka in Nagpur. It was in 22nd March 1999, he took four wickets in just four over’s and extraordinary performance. In that match he bowled 4 over’s out of which  none were maiden. In the 4 over’s he just conceded 21 runs and took 4 wickets with an economy of 5.25 and this was his third best bowling performance.   
  4. 3/22 Vs. Zimbabwe – Sourav Ganguly’s fourth best bowling performance was against Zimbabwe in Harare. It was in 19th February 2003, he took a three wicket and it was one of his best. In that match he bowled 5 over’s out of which 1 was maiden. In the 5 over’s he just conceded 22 runs and took 3 wickets with an economy of 4.40 and this was his fourth best bowling performance.   
  5. 3/27 Vs. England – Sourav Ganguly’s fifth best bowling performance was against England in Birmingham. It was in 29th May 1999, he took three wicket’s and it was a good performance against England. In that match he bowled 8 over’s out of which none were maiden. In the 8 over’s he just conceded 27 runs and took 3 wickets with an economy of 3.37 and this was his fifth best bowling performance.
