The South African line-up has been one of the prime strengths in international Cricket through the past 2 decades. They have remained one of the consistent sides and also, as a team they have put up plenty of records which still remain intact till date. The Proteas have produced quite a number of brilliant batsmen and also we have seen plenty of them performing for the team at a consistent basis with some memorable partnerships.

Here is the list of the South African batsmen who were involved in the most number of century partnerships in ODIs –

1. Jacques Kallis – 50 Times

He is still regarded as one of the best all-rounders of the game. He came handy both with the bat as well as with the ball as per his team’s needs. He came out to bat at number 3 position for his team and often he anchored the innings for South Africa and was actively involved in setting up huge partnerships. So, it’s no wonder that he tops this list.

2. AB de Villiers – 43 Times

He has emerged to be one of the most destructive and fiery batsmen in ODI cricket. He is capable of destroying the opposition in a matter of a few deliveries. His recent innings of 162 runs off 62 deliveries is a sheer instance of the same. He has also been involved in a number of century partnerships for his team.

3. Graeme Smith – 35 Times
