Sri Lanka have named a 15-member squad for the first 3 ODIs against England starting 26th November.
The squad features the as usual strong names but Dinesh Chandimal and Nuwan Kulasekara have been excluded due to poor form. It’s really not a good sign for both Chandimal and Kulasekara as the World Cup is very near and both being the crucial members of the squad would really look to find form before Sri Lanka tours New Zealand in January 2015.
Thilina Kandamby makes a return to the squad after a three year hiatus. Rangana Herath also makes a comeback after being rested from the series against India. Dilruwan Perera, their best spinner in the last one year in Tests, finds a place in the 15. Lahiru Gamage also retains his place in the squad after performing well in his debut series against India.
