India have started off their three match series campaign well in Sri Lanka. Indian bowlers are making Sri Lankan players to dance at the crease. Rejuvenated Ishant Sharma start the day clocking 142 km. His combination with Varun Aaron did not allow Sri Lankan opener Karunaratne and Kaushal Silva to settle at the crease. Both, Ishant and Aaron were fast and were bounce.

R Ashwin has become a threat to Sri Lankan left hander. Kumar Sangakkara was the first victim of Ashwin scored just five runs. Sangakkara was caught by KL Rahul at silly point. Ashwin went on took the wicket of Lahiru Thirimanne and Jehan Mubarak.

Aaron could gave India the first breake though if Shikhar Dhawan did not drop the catch of Kaushal Silva at the first slip, but, that did not leave India at bay as a deadly bouncer from Ishant strike at the handle of opener Karunaratne bat that was caught by Ajinkya Rahane. Aaron picked up the wicket of Kaushal Silva. Shikhar Dhawan did not miss the catch this time.
