Now life is normal for Ben Stokes. 3rd April was a nightmare for England all-rounder Ben Stokes when he was hit four consecutive sixes in last over of the match in World Twenty-20 final against West Indies which costed his team the trophy. It was disappointing but Ben’s life is back to normal. English all-rounder Ben Stokes appeared in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
No matter what the age is, the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has fans of all ages. Stokes is no different. The WWE had its Monday night RAW flagship event at London and Stokes absolutely didn’t miss a chance to attend it. He had his place reserved in the ‘Special Guests’.
The flagship event at the Newcastle saw Stokes walk up to the ring in a similar fashion in which the WWE players walk in. The background screen had a video being played that displayed his heroics on the field. He received a warm welcome from the crowd.
During the event and the days that followed, Ben Stokes bonded big time with WWE wrestlers Dolph Ziggler, The Miz, and Ryback. The WWE later also posted a video of The Miz trying his hands at cricket on their official twitter handle. The video had The Miz hit a stationary ball, much like a golf swing, though, as Stokes watched from the background.
The English Cricket Board (ECB) posted pics of the cricketer with the wrestlers. He was also seen with the big guy ‘Ryback’ in a pic clicked at the backstage.
