Mahendra Singh Dhoni is like a fine wine as he keeps on getting better with age. After proving his doubters wrong in the last match by playing a vital knock of 80 runs, the Indian wicketkeeper has shown that he is still far from over.
Considered as one of the smartest players in the game, Dhoni has carved his niche in the game with his street smart methods to play the game. While his batting, as well as wicketkeeping technique, is not very pleasing to the eyes, there is no denying the fact that he is very effective with his own style and after having a look at his latest exploit, no one can doubt that.
Dhoni left one and all awestruck after he ended New Zealand batsman Ross Taylor’s stay at the crease with a brilliant run out. After guiding a fullish ball from Umesh Yadav very fine at fine leg, the Kiwi batsman tried to take a double. He completed his first run comfortably and with Dhoni standing in front of the wicket and having no view of the stumps, it seemed that Taylor would complete the second run. But that was the moment when Dhoni proved why he is rated so highly in the world. After collecting the ball, he threw it at the stumps without looking at it.
