The reporting of bowlers for possessing suspect bowling action continues and of the latest, West Indies and Kolkata Knight Riders Star Off Spinner – Sunil Narine – presently representing Kolkata knight Riders in Champions League T20 2014 has been reported. Now Narine becomes the fourth bowler to be reported during this CLT20.

The report over ban specifically relates to the quicker ball Narine usually bowls. According to the CLT20 rules, he may continue to bowl in the remaining matches before he undergoes test inside 20 days as per ICC regulations. However, Narine is placed on the warning list and if he gets reported again he will not be allowed to bowl in the remaining matches.

The report was filed during his team KKR‘s last league game against Dolphins at Hyderabad. Earlier 3 cricketers who have been suspected with illegal actions were Lahore Lions’ Adnan Rasool, Mohammad Hafeez and Dolphins’ Mohammad Subrayen.

Narine was reported by the on-field umpires Anil Chaudhary and Chettithody Shamshuddin, along with the third umpire Kumar Dharamsena at the conclusion of the match.
