Young Kolkata Knight Riders player, Suryakumar Yadav has now joined the list of off-spinners who were reported for possessing suspected bowling actions as the KKR‘s offspinner been reported for chucking during the Oppo Champions League Twenty20 final against Chennai Super Kings in Bangalore.

Yadav was reported after the match by the on-field umpires, Rod Tucker and Kumar Dharmasena, and the third umpire, S. Ravi. Primary role of Yadav is batting, but he chipped in with three overs during the final in the absence of Sunil Narine, who was been banned for a suspect action after been reported twice.

Yadav became the fifth offspinner to be reported for chucking during the CLT20, after Mohammad Hafeez and Adnan Rasool of Lahore Lions, Prenelan Subrayen of the Dolphins and Narine of Kolkata Knight Riders.

According to the CLT20′s Suspected Illegal Bowling Action policy, Yadav can now request for an official assessment from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Suspect Bowling Action Committee. He is now been placed in the warning list but can continue to bowl in BCCI organised tournaments unless he gets reported again.

However, Suryakumar Yadav is a medium pacer too. Unless he tries to bowl off-spin again, he cannot be banned.
