The comedian of Indian Cricket Team: Suresh Raina reveals

It’s very rare to get to know cricketers up, close and personal off the field looking at their busy schedule round the year. Recently, ace Indian cricketer Suresh Raina appeared on an Indian chat show hosted by eminent Indian actor Anupam Kher. This was the first candid interview of the player after his illustrious and lavish marriage with Priyanka Chowdhury earlier this year and it was expected that many romantic secrets would pop out of the encounter but what all his followers got to know seems even funnier.

In the interview, Raina revealed that there is someone who tickles everyone’s funny bones in the team and he is none other than the current ODI captain of the side, Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

“I don”t know about others but for me the comedian of our team is MS Dhoni. He is very serious on the ground. But once he enters the (dressing) room he says something and everybody start laughing,” Raina was quoted saying.

But not only this, he also revealed how the leader never fails to inspire people and motivate them to stay positive and play on their strengths to achieve great feats.

“I have learnt to stay happy in my teams happiness from Dhoni. When Dhoni’s baby was about to be born I asked him why he wasn’t going, he told the country comes first for him. If you are under pressure and you talk to him, he will calm you down. If you have such inspiration in life then you don’t need any other motivation.”

More of the dashing cricketer’s commendable sense of humour was exposed when he said Dhoni is busy changing Ziva’s( Dhoni’s daughter) diapers and compared the laugh of Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan’s laugh with that with a deceit.
