The 2010-11 Ashes will be fondly remembered as the series in which the England side conquered the Aussies on their home turf after 32 years.
In the third Test match at Perth a spat broke out between Mitchell Johnson and James Anderson. The Australian captain complained to the England skipper regarding Anderson’s behaviour.
The spat between these too became serious once Anderson picked up the wicket of Ryan Harris with a full length delivery. Before the ball was bowled Mitchell Johnson had a go against the English strike bowler. Anderson replied by a peach of a delivery to dismiss Ryan Harris and then stretched his arms before indicating the Aussie bowler to shut your mouth. Anderson was more happier when he took the catch of Johnson to end his innings.
Below is the video when the spat broke out between these two:
Johnson later took the revenge in the 2013-14 Ashes series in Adelaide. Johnson was in sublime form throughout this series bowling with brisk pace. Johnson was the chief destroyer for the English side picking up 7 wickets and Anderson is one of them. The ball beaten Anderson for pace and the stumps was shattered. Johnson gave a huge send off with a stare before the celebrations began.
