The wonder boy of India: The next Tendulkar in making?

With the technology and reach of people increasing, he age of talent is decreasing day by day. The youngest cricketer to debut for any national side has been Hasan Raza from Pakistan, playing for his country for the first time at the age of 14 which left the whole world praising him. But here is another little boy, whose skills are enough to make anyone astonished and in an even lesser age.

To the cricket crazy people in India, Krishna Narayan is a known name. Since the age of 3 years, the gifted boy’s cricketing actions have been filmed and went viral on the net. With over 5 lakh viewers of those videos, Krishna’s raw yet promising talent has been praised a lot. The videos clearly show how the boy has improved himself day-by-day and is being denoted as the rising star of the nation. Though a bit flawed, most of his defensive shots, pulls and drives remind of the greats such as Ricky Ponting and sir Brian Lara. Here are some of the videos of the child prodigy:

The first time he was exposed to turf wicket:

The way his talent impressed the maestros of the same field can be described by the fact that while he was only 9 years old, the touring West Indies team along with Richie Richardson met Krishna personally before their first ODI at Kochi.

And Krishna’s idol? It is none other than Sachin Tendulkar. Here is what he said about his idol:

As Kerala Cricket Association came forward to take the right step of helping the kid to grow with more finesse, it can be hoped that one day India will see an unstoppable Krishna Narayan batting in the blue jersey.
