The Indian Premier League is often considered to be a batsman’s paradise, but there have been so many bowlers who have chosen to rewrite the script in a batsman friendly format. In a format which is often unforgiving on the bowlers, and where reputations count for nothing, and bowlers are ought to be hit, a few men have let their deliveries do the talking and changed the complexion of the game. SPORTZWIKI takes a look at those bowling performances and brings to you the Top 5 Best bowling figures in the IPL.
5. Ravindra Jadeja v/s Deccan Chargers (now Sunrisers Hyderabad) – 4-0-16-5 on 7th April 2012.
Ravindra Jadeja has often sparkled with some wonderful bowling displays for the Chennai Super Kings in his time with the Yellow army, the best of which came against the Deccan Chargers when he took 5 wickets in his quota of 4 overs leaking just 16 runs in the process. An economy rate of just 4 runs per over, which is pretty much vintage Jadeja! Smart, handy and economical with the ball!

Lasith Malinga is not stranger to impressive bowling figures but his best performance in the IPl came against Delhi Daredevils in IPL IV, as the Sri Lanka’s premier fast bowler produced a scintillating performance with the ball with career best IPL figures of 5 for 13.
