Cricketers want to be fit as much they can. We have seen player’s physical efforts in the game. Cricketers have been working their days and nights giving their sweat and blood to give their best to the game. Here we bring you five cricketers who have potential to be the greatest athlete in the World.
1) AB de villiers:
The South African ODI Skipper’s skills on the field made him the natural successor to Jonty Rhodes. He is the best fielder in the current cricketing world. The big secret of his fitness includes lots and lots of running. His record says he has never been very unfit. AB has never missed a test match due to an injury since the debut. 2) Virat Kohli :
India’s test skipper Virat Kohli is the sensation of Indian cricket. His physic inspires many young cricketers. Virat Kohli follows a strict routine, a combination of both weights and cardio exercises with five day workout and two days rest. He does not smoke or drink. His workouts also include playing games as well, staying hydrated is another requirement. India’s fitness coach Shanker Basu has revealed recently that Virat Kohli wants to become the best athlete in the world. Kohli is one of the fittest cricketers in the country and has been working really hard to achieve it.
3) Mahendra Singh Dhoni:
MS Dhoni is a man of strength. How he rotates strike and scoring runs with ones and twos, it shows that Dhoni would be sprinter if he did not play cricket. He has a list to his diet, which includes, no fats, fresh juice, playing games, protein drinks, variety in meals, his love for milk products and the munching of proteins like nuts. Previous year, Dhoni was trained by Indian Army.
4) Dale Steyn:
The South African paceman believes building stamina is the only way to be fit. Dale Steyn has made a body of endurance not power to avoid injuries. He eats regular brown rice, chicken, fishes like tuna and protein shakes, juices and energy drinks. His fitness looks like an athlete.
