2015 has been a year of retirements where many cricketing legends bid adieu from all formats of the game. From that many young and promising players who made a debut for their respective countries in International cricket after playing in Under 19 cricket, we look at the top 5 players who made their debut in International cricket in 2015.

1. Kagiso Rabada

Kagiso Rabada is an impressive fast bowler began his international carrier with South Africa under 19 side in the ICC under 19 World Cup in 2014. He bowled with pace and aggression registering the best figures of the tournament of 6/25 against Australia A. He came to limelight in international cricket with a dream performance in his debut match against Bangladesh on 10th July getting the best figures on debut of 6/16. He became the second only player after Islam to take a hat trick on debut in ODI match. He was impressive on the South Africa tour of India especially in the One day Internationals where he bowled with pace and aggression. During that series he picked 10 wickets. He made his Test debut during the first test match against India on Novemember 5. He had already made his T20 debut against Australia in 2014. He has all the qualities of becoming a quick and genuine fast bowler of the world.

2. Litton Das

Litton Das a right handed batsmen and a wicketkeeper who plays for the Bangladesh team. He represented for Bangladesh at the Under 19 World Cups in 2012 and 2014. Litton Das made his Test debut against India on June 10th 2015. He scored an impressive 44 in the one off Test match. He made his One day International debut also against India on 18th June 2015 where he scored only 8 runs. He made his T20 debut against South Africa on 5th Jul 2015 where he scored 22 runs. Since then he has represented Bangladesh in 3 Test matches, 9 One day Internationals and 3 T20 matches. 

3. Mustizfur Rahman

Mustafizur Rahman is a Bangladeshi left arm fast bowler. Rahman made his One day International debut against India on 18th June 2015. He made his T20 debut against Pakistan on 24th April 2015. He made his Test debut against South Africa on 21st July 2015. He came into limelight in international cricket during the three matches One day International series against India and shocked the Indian team by picking 5 wickets in his debut match and followed up with by another great spell of bowling taking 6/43 in the second match. Rahman became the 10th bowler to take a five wicket haul in an ODI debut. He took 13 wickets in three matches ODI series. He followed with another excellent performance against South Africa in the 3rd ODI to help Bangladesh win the series against South Africa. His variations have been the key for the success for Bangaldesh. During his debut Test match against South Africa, he picked 4 wickets. Since his debut, he has played 2 Test matches, 9 One day Internationals and 5 T20 matches.

4. Dushmanta Chameera

Dushmanta Chameera is a young and promising fast bowler who impressed with speed and pace plays for Sri Lanka. He made his One day International debut against New Zealand on 29th January 2015 where he picked the wickets of Ross Taylor and Grant Elliot. He was selected in the World Cup 2015 squad but could not take part in first few matches. His chance came against Scotland. He made his Test debut against Pakistan in June 2015. He really bowled with pace and aggression and picked 4/76. He made his T20 debut against West Indies on 9th November. 

5. Manish Pandey

Manish Pandey a right handed middle order batsmen represented Karnataka in all forms of domestic cricket and Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL. Pandey became the first Indian player to score a century in IPL 2009. He was selected in India’s team for the T20 series against West Indies, but the series did not happen. Because of his impressive performances in the IPL, his dream was realized when he made his One-day International debut for India against Zimbabwe on 14th July. He made his first half-century before being dismissed for 71 in the third One-day International. Manish Pandey and Kedar Jadhav came to the crease when India was struggling at 82 for 4 before both of them stitched an important 144 runs partnership. He made his T20 debut for India on the same tour on the 17th July 2015.
