The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) were asked to bat first at Feroze Shah Kotla, Delhi. SRH’s innings never took off as they struggled throughout the 20 overs as opener David Warner and Shikhar Dhawan scored a ball a run  28 and 10 respectively. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) bowlers’ tight bowling never allowed SRH to open their hands for big shots.

Moises Henriques was looking solid but his 31 run innings was cut short by Kuldeep Yadav. An innings which was demanding a partnership finally got a good treat from Yuvraj Singh and Deepak Hooda as they scored 44 and 21 respectively.

However, KKR too failed to take off as their batsmen started crawling throughout the innings. Gambhir scored 28 and Manish Pandey 36 respectively. SRH won the match by 22 runs.
