United Arab Emirates (UAE) bowlers Salman Farooq and Mohammad Shahzad have been reported for suspect bowling action during an ODI match against Afghanistan on 30th November.

The match officials’ report, which was handed over to the Emirates Cricket Board Chief Executive, David East, cited concerns about the legality of the respective bowling actions.

Salman and Shahzad’s bowling actions will now be scrutinised further under the ICC process relating to suspected illegal bowling actions across all formats of the game. They would be required to undergo testing within 21 days, and, during this period, both would be permitted to continue bowling in international cricket until the results of the tests are known.
