Umar Akmal Gets Trolled After Posting Photo With Bentley

  • Pakistan batsman Umar Akmal has been one of the most stylish and decorated batsmen the country has seen but despite having loads of talent, he hasn’t lived up to potential in his career so far. His inconsistency hasn’t allowed him to remain a certainty in the national team and it is perhaps due to his lacklustre performances, of late, that he is receiving the flack from fans.

Akmal’s career has been marred with off field issues and his career reached a new low after PCB removed him from the player’s list with new national contracts. Despite the setback, Akmal was pretty active on his social media sites and was enjoying his time in London when he decided to post a picture which ignited his fans to take a dig at him.

Taking on Twitter, Akmal posted a photo of himself standing with a Bentley with a caption which read, ‘Enjoying London after Hard work.’ The picture didn’t go down well with fans as they started trolling him. While one guy commented “From where did you get money to buy a BENTLEY ????? I think you just clicked a pic with someone’s car, another guy enquired if being out of the side is also a process of hard work?

Twitterati was not ready to let Akmal go off the hook as they kept on taking a dig at him with hilarious comments. Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket Board might be investigating Akmal and Mohammad Sami to find out if the duo had any involvement in the spot fixing issues. Their names have sprung up after a bookie named Mohammad Yusuf took their names several times.

“Their names were mentioned in the testimony and it was revealed by the NCA official that the bookmaker Mohammad Yousuf took their names several times,” one source revealed.

The source also revealed that no notice could be sent to them as there was no conclusive evidence which proved that they violated PCB’s anti-corruption code. The duo has been in and out of the national side through the course of their career and if proved guilty it might well turn out to be the end of their careers.
