It is not a new thing that Indian limited-over skipper MS Dhoni is super fast wicket-keeper in the international cricket. But it was more than those which Dhoni did in the match against Bangladesh in WT20 2016 on Wednesday night.
It was the match between India and Bangladesh at the Super 10 stage (Group 1) in WT20 2016 at Bengaluru. After winning the toss, Bangladesh decided to bowl first. Bangladesh restricted India at 146/7 in 20 overs.
In reply, Bangladesh made a good start in their innings. The video incident happened at 10th over of their innings when Bangladesh batsman Sabbir Rahman was playing very well against the Indian bowlers.
It was the 9.3 overs when Sabbir Rahman was facing Indian part-time spinner Suresh Raina. Raina bowled a quicker delivery which went down the leg side. Sabbir went for a flick but missed it and misbalanced for just a few seconds as his left leg in the air at that moment (this leg was in the crease). MS Dhoni realized that moment and took off the bail at that moment.
The greatest thing was Dhoni waited for that moment when Sabbir’s leg was on the air and after getting that moment he used it with his super fast skill. Once again he proved why he is known one of the greatest international wicket-keeper along with the cool brain.
Though that delivery was called wide but India got a crucial wicket at that moment.
