India-Pakistan cricket match is always full of heat. All players are overly excited for the match. But when it came to the Shoaib Akhtar, well nothing needs to say much then.

Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar is well-known for a hot minded approach towards the game, both on and off the field.

The match here we are talking about was played between India vs Pakistan 2nd Test of 3-match series at Kolkata on November-December 2007. India were leading the series 1-0 after winning the 1st Test match at Delhi by 6 wickets.

The incident happened at the end moment of day 4. The pitch was frustrating for the bowlers as the track was batting friendly even on the 4th day of the match. With the 1st innings lead of 160 runs, India was looking good in the second innings too. At that moment, Sourav Ganguly was facing Shoaib Akhtar. Ganguly was just 7 runs short from his 6,000 career runs in Test cricket

On the other hand, after going wicket less in the first innings, Akhtar failed to manage any wicket in the second innings till that moment. So, it was quite expected that the bowler like Shoaib Akhtar cannot remain cool at that moment.

It was 34.4 overs of India’s 2nd innings; exhausted Akhtar bowled a fuller one to the leg side which Ganguly played to the square-leg but failed to get runs. When Akhtar was returning to his bowling mark, he splashed some hot words in his mother tongue to his teammate Yasir Hameed. The statement was caught on the stump mic which was sounds quite abusive.

Akhtar finally managed to pick up wickets on day 5 as he finished with 2 wickets in the end. The match resulted in a draw at the end.
