Video – IPL 2017 – Samuel Badree Demolishes Mumbai Indians With A Hat -Trick

If anyone thought that the Mumbai Indians would endure a cakewalk of a chase at Bangalore, needing 143 to win, then that person did commit a massive blunder! Powered by the sheer brilliance and genius of Trinidadian Samuel Badree, the Royal Challengers Bangalore decimated Mumbai’s top order with the score being 8-4 after 3 overs.

Badree, making his debut for the Royal Challengers Bangalore and the previously number one ranked bowler in T20I rankings took a hat-trick as the leg-spinner made an absolute mockery of the Mumbai Indians top-order. Defending a below par total of 143, skipper Virat Kohli would have loved to get in a couple of quick wickets, but in the form of Badree, he hit the jackpot.

Jos Buttler was the first one to be dismissed as Stuart Binny tricked him in a leg side ploy. However, in the third over, Badree took over and over for good as he bowled a magical over intimidating the visiting batsmen.

Beginning with Parthiv Patel, the leggie trapped the senior keeper by having him caught at the cover while urging him to drive straight to the spinner. The experiment of sending pinch hitter Mitchell McClenaghan turned to be a damp move as a slog from his ended up safely in the hands of the fielder at the boundary.

Rohit Sharma, who has struggled against spin in this IPL was clean bowled for a duck handing Badree his hattrick. With the game underway, a thrilling finish awaits us. Below, is the video of that sensational hat-trick from Badree.
