IPL 2017: Video – KKR Fielders Make Mockery Of Fielding To Gift KXIP Extra Runs

Everything was going normal in the game between Kolkata Knight Riders and Kings XI Punjab until Mohit Sharma played a shot over extra cover which the fielder collected and threw at the striker end.
Batsmen had just completed a run till then and the ball went onto hit the stumps to get deflected.
Mohit Sharma and Varun Aaron ran for another run before again a fielder made a successful attempt of a direct hit, which again deflected after making a contact with stumps and this time batsmen ran two.
In total, batsmen fetched a total of four runs, out of this fielding gaffe to punish the needless shoot and throw game proposed by Kolkata Knight Riders fielders.
This was not the only gaffe committed as earlier, a sloppy Sunil Narine made a total of two mistakes to hand KXIP a bit of advantage. First, he dropped Manan Vohra off Trent Boult when he was with a score of 17 followed by a mis-field, which resulted in four. This time again Trent Bult was the bowler.
Despite all the gaffes, KKR was able to restrict KXIP on a score of 170, which is a chase-able total keeping in mind the track and the dew factor as well.
